Carso, the city, and Molo Audace.
Trieste becomes your playground: from the iconic Molo Audace to the Carso plateau, weaving through buzzing nightlife streets, your bike glides between history and urban adrenaline.
Hop between historic cafés, hidden street art, and climbs that lead you straight into the wind of the plateau. Here, the city isn’t just the backdrop — it’s part of the ride.
Here are a few routes for true bikelovers:
Warm-up: Molo Audace (easy | 5–8 km)
The symbolic tip of Trieste — the perfect place to get your legs moving and breathe in the Adriatic air before heading up into the Old Town. But only for riders with strong calves.
City ride: from the center to the osmize (easy–medium | 10–15 km)
An urban loop through neoclassical squares, street art and the famous osmize on the Carso. Go at your own pace, stop where you like.
Never heard of osmize? If your GPS goes blank, you’re probably close. Think wooden tables, local Carso wine, cheese, and boiled eggs.
No frills, just a cult ritual that only Trieste — and its plateau — can turn into an experience.
Coastal route + Carso climb (medium | 25–35 km)
Sea meets upland. Scenic curves, a return to the city with the bora in your face (hopefully not!), and the sun setting over the harbor.
This isn’t just your urban base — The Modernist is Trieste in its coolest version.
Minimalist, stylish rooms and suites. A creative sharing-food bistro. Signature cocktails.
Coming back here doesn’t mean slowing down — it means diving deeper into the city, through flavors, stories, and the energy of the center.
Trieste, in full Mod mode.
